Eric Hutchinson and Tents

Eric Hutchinson is my favorite artist.  I love him. I went to his concert a few years ago with my brother and just loved it. We even got to meet him and take pictures the first time. I love the fans, band, and environment at his concert.  So he came to San Juan Capistrano and we of course went and saw him!  We all had a great time and were sad when the concert was over.
Love Pedros.
Love Eric.

"X" marks the spot!...or the underage boy...

That weekend Stuart and I also finally got around to buying our sleeping bags.  So since we had no plans of camping, we created our own campground in our apartment. We love our snuggly sleeping bags and cant wait to use our sleeping bags for some beach camping!

Dumpster Diving

So I am a sucker for free food.  Seriously there is not too much that makes me happier than a buy one get one free. So when we got a coupon for buy one get one free CHIPOTLE we are ALL about it!! I mean since it was a flyer, we knew some people had just tossed it.  So naturally, we went dumpster diving around the whole apartment complex to find more fliers.  This may be disgusting to most, but it was totally worth it. 10 buy one get one frees! Yay for free food

23rd Birthday Bash

23 is SO good.
I had the BEST birthday ever.  Hands Down.
My husband SPOILED me and even surprised me. This is the first time I was completely surprised since being married.

My birthday fell on a Sunday which means we partied all weekend.
This little cutie made me breakfast

We headed down to Laguna and found our new favorite beach spot.  It is where the Montage Resort is and it is so pretty.

Cheesecake Factory for dinner

On Sunday...my actual birthday..my sweet family came down to Irvine and we barbecued outside!
 Loved it.

Heavy Heavy Hangover from the best parents a girl could ask for

Hailey wanted her turn to bonk me

anthro platter my sister got me! I wanted this.

Husband taking his turn

My sweet Popa gave me this blow up boat! This was truly a sentimental gift that I loved.  We used to go in boats all the time at my family's cabin with all the cousins and kids growing up.  So he gave me one so that I have one for my own family to make memories at the cabin!! So excited.

Who wouldn't want cash???

Blowing out my trick candles! These were John's gift to me, little trickster!

from my love

Stuart left all these little notes in hiding places throughout my birthday. So sweet..

But the next one was my fave....

YES. Disneyland Passes.  AHHH!!!
I wish we could have caught my reaction.  I was so surprised and soooo happy!!!
I have been talking about wanting Disneyland passes ever since we moved down here but just kind of gave up on it because Stuart was NOT into it. He just had a card for me on the table and casually told me to open it..and that is what I found! Starting off the year with season passes to Disneyland could not be more perfect.

I also loved All my birthday songs and calls from the Lange side!!
And...my sweet Mother in Law made me a quilt! so excited.
23 really has been the greatest year so far!! Love being 23

Before We Moved...

....so we MOVED! a month ago...to Irvine..and we LOVE it!! Seriously. I was venting to Stuart the other day and I said, "...but you know what I do love?? Where we live." I love this part of Irvine and our apartment so much.  Anyways that is beside the point of this post...
Before we moved we took some pictures, and they are worth documenting.  This is us repainting dressers in the conveniently located parking lot right next to my house. We debated but painted them to a pretty green! No finished product but it was a great bonding experience :) (let's be honest Stuart did 2x as much work as me...I do not love actually doing the project, more just the end result).

These are from Sunday dinner one night at my parents.  I don't know why but we thought it was hilarious to put these napkin rings on our faces...we did thisfor like an hour.  You had to be really steady and use face muscles you didn't know you had.

So there's some fun documentation that I hope my posterity enjoys...woot woot!!

Ducks Game

Stuart scored two tickets to the Ducks game from work last week and we had a great outing! Back up...Two weeks ago Stuart was given the tickets becuase his co-worker couldn't go. They told him they were for that night's game and so we went over there that night. As we were getting closer I was thinking, why are there no cars around? Shouldn't there be more people walking to the game? Then when we check our tickets we realize they are for NEXT week's game. We had a good laugh and went home. However actual game night was alot of fun! I had not been to a Hockey game in years and it was a fun change of scenery. Funny story #2..Stuart was also told that these were box seats. So we just went into the box we thought was associated with our tickets. After about 15 mins of sitting there, someone's asks to check our tickets. Turns out we were NOT in box seats, but right below the box haha whoopsies...When we got to our real seats Stuart said he felt more at home :) haha The Ducks had a great win and it was a fun night!

Vegas

Two weekends ago we went to Vegas for Stuart's friend Chantry's wedding in Vegas. We decided since Stuart was taking a day off work that we would make it worth it and get a hotel for the night! The hotel was great and it was really nice to have some time just the two of us. When we were out on the strip that night though I was reminded of how much I do not like The Strip. It is just a depressing and dirty place to me. People trying to give you nasty fliers and stuff, yuck. I do not dislike ALL of Vegas, just the Strip. Sorry, just me. We pretty much just got dinner and watched the fountains at the Bellagio. I do love the fountains. Wish the show would just be continuous all night...I told Stuart I would only stay on the strip again if we could stay at the Bellagio and our room faced the fountains...guess we wont be coming back :) Staying in a hotel is always so fun though and we did have a great time together! Th wedding on Sunday was beautiful and it was nice to be in the temple the next day..I love going to sealing and being reminded of our own wedding day. Stuart's parents and Brooke also came down from Utah for the wedding and it was so good to see them!! We miss them down here...all in all a fun weekend!

Stuart was LOVING his sammy
