Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We spent Christmas here with my family in California and had a nice time. It was the first year in a long time that no traveling was involved and that was really relaxing.

Christmas Eve we had a scrumptious dinner and then the traditional scavenger hunt for our Christmas pajamas! My dad does a scavenger hunt around the house and then the end clue leads you to the pajamas. Since we are all adults and insist that he still does the scavenger hunt, he makes it really tricky. For instance once clue was "the last of 88"...any guesses? Well a piano has 88 keys and the clue was on the last key of the piano. Yeah, tricky! But it was so fun to be a part of it this year and we loved our new Pajamas. Hailey especially loved her new slippers. That little girl was the cutest thing figuring out wearing slippers for the first time.

We decided to sleep at my parents that night so they would have people to wake up with Christmas morning, it was great! Stuart was like a little kid though and couldn't sleep because he was so excited. Needless to say, we were up earlier than my parents expected!

My siblings and their kids came over for breakfast and to celebrate the rest of the day. It was a good Christmas. Stuart made a list for once, and he was so amazed that he wanted everything that he got. I've been trying to tell him this, and he is now a believer in making a list rather than people doing their best to guess what you want! Down below you will notice that an odd picture of me sitting on a bucket. My mom gave us emergency preparedness supplies and one of the items was a toilet bucket! We were laughing so hard. Enjoy the pic

It was a wonderful day filled with family and love. One of the best parts of the day was getting to talk to my brother John in Peru on his mission. He is doing so well and is very happy. Even though I really miss him, I couldn't be more proud.

We are truly grateful for the Christmas season and the opportunity it gives us to remember our savior and be with those that we love.

Disney Christmas

You can't beat Disneyland during the Holidays! I was so happy to have annual passes this Holiday Season. It's been too long since I have seen the Holiday magic there! We had a great time here during the holidays. Quite magical

December Festivities

December was a BUSY month. As I think it is for everyone! But that's what makes it fun. Stuart and I packed in alot of activities and it made or fun holiday season!

Our nephew Tanner had his baptism and ALL of Stuarts family came to town. It was such a treat!! We had a great time in San Diego celebrating.

For our December date we went on a boat to see the Newport Beach Christmas boat parade and it was Awesome! We had a great time.

We also visited Balboa two other times to walk along the streets and look at all of the awesome homes decked out for Chiristmas. One night we were on babysitting duty so our good friends Tyler and Audra got to see what it would be like hanging out with us with a child. They said they had a good time still I guess we are allowed to have kids now! Haha

Oh and we can't forget the tree at Fashion Island! Always a must see during Christmas time.

My Dads side of the family had their annual Christmas party. It is always a treat to see that side of the family. Most people are I. Orange County, but this is the only time we all get together! We have a big dinner, reenact the Nativity, sing songs, and have a white elephant gift exchange. Stuart is always amazed at how intense it is. My side of the family is a little ruthless!

I'm glad we packed in lots of fun times, it made it really special!

Thanksgiving in Utah

We had the most wonderful time on our Thanksgiving trip to Utah! It was so good to see all the Langes and spend some time in our old stomping grounds. It made me realize how many good memories we have there and made me more grateful for the opportunity I had to go to school there. Our festivities included:

Thanksgiving day shooting
Eating a delicious thanksgiving feast! (Of which I unfortunately have no pictures of)
Seeing the lights at temple square
Exploring the new city creek center
Going to Sammy's with Mike and Kimberly
Eating at Gurus and Jdawgs
Seeing my grandparents
Hanging with our nieces
Spending quality time talking with family

Thanks for a wonderful time Lange family!!
